In a World of Unknowns

As of the past two days, I was given two "something to think about" propositions. While I don't mind those, it sent my world into something that could be big and new and a little bit scary. The two are completely unrelated to the other, but both would bring some big changes into my life. I want to be open minded, I want to see where God leads me/us, but it definitely is making my mind race with thoughts of the unknown.

If you know me, I am a big planner. I like knowing what is going to happen every day, every week, every month, every YEAR if I can. This is definitely an area God calls me to rely fully on Him and His plan. All of the verses come to mind, and I try to repeat them over and over in my head, calming my emotions down so I don't overthink and tell myself that my way is better. I want to follow God's plan, but there could be some really big steps. Or- He could just be testing me/us of, "How much do you trust Me?" I know for a fact, if it's God's will, He is going to go before me/us and work everything out.

I quote I have memorized says, "It's it not God's will, you can't force it. If it is God's will, you can't stop it." Right now- this is 100% where I am at. So, in my world of unknowns, I trust Him. Even though I want the answers now, I know all in good time, He will answer them and direct me/us. I look back and remember all of the times God answered my prayers, because even for the ones that didn't go according to my plan, God still answered them.

If no one reads this blog post, that's ok. I think I wrote it to get thoughts out of my head and onto "paper". But if someone does read this, I hope you enjoyed. I know I am being very discreet, but I appreciate the willingness of you reading it. If you wish, I appreciate prayers, but no pressure by any means. If God opens those doors, you will know about them and if not, then it will be just a passing thought, but I will be thankful either way for God's leading.
